Inkling is here! FINALLY, someone out there heard our pain! You draw on paper, and it gets digitised as you go! When I bought a tablet, it was as if I was in Kindergarten again, a preschooler learning to use a pencil. "Something is wrong," I said to myself, and looked it up. Sure enough, a tablet and stylus are new tools, to be learnt anew by hand AND mind. Might as well start learning to draw from scratch. And then there came Inkling. The first pun on it was made by Tolkien and his crew at university, a writers' group who called themselves "The Inklings", playing on the meaning of the word, and the meaning of the suffix "-ling" as in

"How to Train Your Dragon" has bitten me. I wish to see it in 2D, and it is not as captivating as Avatar, but I LOOOVE the little dragon! I wish the film was more about him than anything else. Darling, darling little feller!

Is it just me, or is there an attitude towards illustrating Far Eastern people after the Japanese Manga fashion, with large, shining eyes shaded by long, thick, black lashes? If this goes on, my mental image of them shall change to a point where reality shall disappoint.
